Jo Pratta is a singer, songwriter, and performer whose music pulses with energy, positivity, and self-awareness. Her art blends ancestral roots, Brazilian culture, and soul, creating songs that invite movement, reflection, and connection with what makes us human.
In 2016, she released her first EP, Mystical Ride, which was produced by Mu Chebabi, and earned the bronze medal at the Global Music Awards in the categories Album and Female Vocalist. The work stood out for its fusion of Brazilian rhythms with a light and pulsating sound, full of joy and presence
The partnership with Chebabi continued in 2020 with the singles Path of Love and Barreiras, the latter a finalist at the Festival de Música Rádio MEC. The songs explore love, boundaries, and emotional awakening, translating a continuous search for happiness and true expression.
In 2024, Jo launched the tour Eu Não Ando Só (I Am Not Alone), made possible by a crowdfunding campaign that raised over 22,000 reais, with a sold-out debut at Eco Som in Rio de Janeiro. The self-titled single gained airplay on international radio stations, while the music video, which was directed and produced by Jo, is now featured on Channel BIS, a Brazilian TV channel dedicated to music.
With over 4,000 followers on Spotify and more than 100,000 plays on her last two releases, Jo consolidates her place as an independent artist with her own voice, vision, and identity.
Currently, she is finishing her next album, Raízes (Roots). This project explores themes such as self-knowledge, connection, self-love, ancestry, and happiness through a sound that is deeply Brazilian yet globally resonant.
