Bio
Jo Pratta is voice, image, and presence. A singer, songwriter, actress, filmmaker, and award-winning voice artist, her work has been recognized in countries such as the USA, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, India, Brazil, and Germany.
As a singer, she was honored at the 2016 Global Music Awards, receiving Best Album and Female Vocalist. In 2020, her song “Barreiras” was a finalist at the Rádio MEC Music Festival. In 2024, she launched the “Eu Não Ando Só” tour, funded by her community through a successful crowdfunding campaign that raised over R$22,000. The tour premiered to a sold-out audience at Eco Som in Rio de Janeiro. Her latest releases have surpassed 100,000 streams and gathered over 4,000 followers on Spotify.
As a voice actress and narrator, Jo has lent her voice to global brands like American Airlines, Facebook, and Pixar, as well as to characters in soap operas, series, animations, audiobooks, and commercials. In 2022, she was nominated for the Voice Arts Awards – known as the “Oscars of Voice” – for her performance in HBO’s series “Lust”.
She is also an award-winning filmmaker, having written, produced, and directed the short film “Lady Labyrinth,” which received Best Short Film and Best Screenplay awards at festivals in Germany, the USA, and Brazil.
